From next-generation night vision to AI-powered augmented reality — we build the systems that give warfighters an asymmetric advantage.
Six interconnected technology platforms designed to deliver unprecedented situational awareness and battlefield superiority.
Image intensifier-based dual-tube night vision goggles. Built on over a decade of optical engineering expertise, the DT-2 delivers uncompromising clarity in the darkest environments. Designed for intuitive operation, field serviceability, and lifetime product support.
Augmented reality heads-up display with integrated thermal imaging. Compatible with night vision for 24-hour operational capability. Delivers real-time tactical overlays, waypoints, and threat data directly into the warfighter's field of view.
Active AI assistant powering the AR interface. Enables real-time target tagging, friendly/enemy distinction, and mission updates. Streams ground-level thermal and camera feeds to cloud command via encrypted mesh networks.
Encrypted mesh network radios connecting AR interfaces with command and control, drones, and on-battlefield sensors. Predictive AI highlights mission-critical intelligence in real-time to field commanders.
Proprietary high-performance, cost-effective Gen 3 filmless image intensifier tubes manufactured in Europe. Breaking into a firm duopoly in a market dominated by two incumbents — a massive strategic and commercial opportunity.
In-house designed and manufactured array of light-sensitive optical lenses for night vision, digital night vision, and thermal sensor systems. Purpose-built for maximum photon capture and optical clarity across the spectrum.
Every Kauffmann-Bremin technology is designed to work as part of a unified battlefield operating system — from the warfighter's eyes to the commander's screen.

Kauffmann-Bremin was born from a singular obsession: to build the world's finest optoelectronic systems — and put them into the hands of those who need them most.
What began in 2009 with a 14-year-old soldering IR LEDs to a pinhole camera has evolved into a vertically integrated European defence technology company. Co-founders Alexander Bremin and Dean Kauffmann have spent over a decade mastering every aspect of night vision — from repairing and trading Gen 3 tubes to designing the DTNVG, one of the most recognised dual-tube night vision systems in the world.
Today, Kauffmann-Bremin is building the next generation of warfighter technology: sovereign European image intensifier manufacturing, AI-powered augmented reality, and encrypted mesh networking — creating a fully integrated battlefield ecosystem that no other company offers.
Our philosophy is simple: build the best product, support it for life, and never compromise on the warfighter's needs.
Serial entrepreneur with five ventures since age 14. Creator of the DTNVG platform. Expert in image intensifier technology, optical engineering, and defence product development.
Industrial designer trained in Switzerland. Mastermind behind the DTNVG's iconic offset pod architecture. Specialist in additive manufacturing and defence product design.
Every product we build is designed to deliver a decisive edge. We don't build equipment — we build dominance.
Full product lifecycle support. Backward compatibility. Comprehensive spare parts. We stand behind every system we ship.
Critical defence technology manufactured on European soil. No foreign dependencies. No supply chain vulnerabilities.
Built by people who understand the mission. Intuitive, field-serviceable, and unbreakable — because failure is not an option.
Kauffmann-Bremin is raising capital to scale its vertically integrated defence technology platform across Europe and allied nations.
European defence spending is surging to historic levels. NATO nations are committing to 2%+ GDP defence budgets, creating unprecedented demand for sovereign technology.
The global image intensifier tube market is controlled by two manufacturers. Kauffmann-Bremin's sovereign European production capability represents a strategic disruption opportunity.
From raw tube manufacturing to AI software — we own the entire stack. This creates compounding defensibility, margin capture, and strategic independence.
Six interconnected technologies creating a unified battlefield OS. Each product strengthens the ecosystem, driving cross-sell, lock-in, and long-term value creation.
Record defence budgets across Europe create urgent demand for sovereign, high-performance technology. The political will for European defence independence has never been stronger.
Current reliance on US-manufactured image intensifier tubes creates strategic vulnerability for European armed forces. Kauffmann-Bremin offers an independent supply path.
The integration of AI into ground-level combat operations is an inevitability. Our platform is purpose-built for this future from day one — not retrofitted onto legacy systems.
A founding team with over a decade of hands-on experience in night vision technology, having designed one of the industry's most recognised products — the DTNVG.
